Maths

My maths buddy and me solved the following question : On the weekend, Tylah made a chocolate cake. If flour made up 65% of the mixture, what percentage of the cake was not flour ?

65 + 35 =100
60 + 40 =100
40 - 5 =35
We got the answer of : 35
